It only costs my time as I am using palm seeds as the feedstock, and gathering used cooking oil. My other project is gasification of old tires, or biomass to produce gasoline. As long as I have a source for free waste I can drive. For long trips I can either seek out local restaurants or use the wood powered van with waste wood. But I have older cars so their engines are very forgiving. Most of my trips are within 40 miles of my home so I can fill my tank with my backyard pump.

Antique? It's new to me.

You have my attention. I have a '95 explorer that i love that, if possible, could be made to run on homemade fuel.

Yesterday it started at 277.9 per gallon and ended up at 274.9. Haven't been out today to see if it has changed again. Just hope other parts of the country also come down likewise.

Update, down to 268.9

$2.77 here just 6 blocks away from my house. And I think it is going to keep going Down Oil is down to what it was 13 months ago. Now if oil would just stay there and the DOW would go back up the 5500 points that it is down from one year ago!!

Paid 3.15 here in Lafayette LA. Wonder why it costs more here where it is refined??? makes no sense to me.
