I saw these right after he posted them last night but I didn't have a clue what to offer for them...and wasn't sure what you do with those paper marks. Is there a way to clean them up after they are marked like that? Once again, my ignorance cost me dearly, I'm sure....GB

There is no way to remove or clean up the paper marks but a couple of the lenses just appeared to be dirty??

Well I guess I screwed up too. I sent a PM with an offer (I'm guessing it was too low, but man I just didn't know where to start) and never heard back. I didn't want to text at midnight!! Bummer

I'd be curious what it took to buy them. I too wanted to make an offer for a pair but had no idea what would be a fair offer, so I didn't make one. Would $75 each been reasonable?

I'd bet it took more than $75 apiece to get them. It's really hard to buy something when the seller won't even give a starting point, even if its too high......

I don't no what the sold for and it appears to be a new discovery, but with that being said I had 250 in my mind because of condition and the graphics. Just because its not been seen before doesn't always mean its worth a fortune. I'm not trying to take a way from what they are just stating my opinion. What's really cool about these globes as it shows you that this stuff is still out there waiting to be found.

Originals only for me. Always looking for Simpson oil, Super A, and MFA oil cans and globes.
