I just bought an old carousel parts bin made of wood. It has stamped on the drawers various size and fraction numbers....also some of the drawers say 'tire'..my question is about the other drawers that read ' car'e '... CAR'E What does that stand for? Anyone know?

Thats a good hypothesis.... I had an initial thought of it being foreign, but it has 'tire' in english on quite a few drawers..... I dunno

I checked out some sites in Europe, and Car'e (at least on a French language site) seems to denote an electric car (in modern times) but I wonder if the root of Car'e dates to the electric cars of the late 1800's? Would that match to the age of your parts bin?
