I don't know signs, don't have many but I did pick this up the other day. I was buying a pump and made the guy throw this in the deal. (it was hanging on his garage at the time)

The condition looks pretty rough. What should I do to try to clean and polish it? (been sitting in the CA sun for many years)

What kind of info can you guys give me on it? Years used? Value?

Hi I would spray the rust stains with metal prep by Pour 15- most will be gone in 10 -15 minutes-just leave the rest alone- just my thoughts- thanks Don

No polish, wax, etc? It looks pretty oxidized. There are the obvious dings but much of the porcelain looks like it is in good shape.

I was unable to find one of there on ebay or online for sale. (or sold) Anyone have an idea of value? (I have no clue)

Good to see you posting again was wondering what happend to you. How are your snakes? The sign dates 1947-52, the book shows $200 in 1995, but I'm no sign guy so I don't have a clue. Good luck Richard

Condition is POOR, a couple of hundred would be very generous. RPM signs go for $300-400 in good condition IMO

Enjoy it, you got it for free with the pump.

Thanks for the info guys.
I always like to know what stuff is worth, just in case. I am a pump guy and really have no interest in other stuff so if the chance came to sell/trade in favor of a pump purchase I'd always go that route.
I'll clean it up and see what it looks like and post some pics then.
