I just picked up this Gilbarco 996. Now I am feeling pretty stupid, I cannot figure out how to open/remove doors. There is no side entry door, nor are there any keyholes to unlock them. Apparently someone else had the same problem, as there is a spot on one door where someone tried to pry it open with a screwdriver. Can someone help me out please? I would like to see what kind of ad glass is under the decals that are on it.

I have the same pump, and you should be able to take the screw off below the sight glass, and you should be able to pull the door right off. It is attached to the bottom at the base. That is all I know. If I am wrong, please correct me.

Thanks Ryan & Noah, I knew it had to be something simple. I thought that screw just held the trim on.

It is a good thing Ryan and Noah told you how to open the door before DB did. He would have probably have you going to the tool cabinet for a sledge hammer.

Did the screw work for you? I ask as I am having the same issue with my 996c. Only it doesn't have a screw below the sight glass in the trim. I instead have a latch at the top of the door above the sight glass that doesn't seem to want to come out.
