Finally got my bottle rack finished to match my Tok 340 lubester. I decided to just use repop bottles for now as it will just set here on display anyway. Besides, the square bottle labels didn't look just right on the Shields & Harper bottle neck as the embossed oval on those bottles still showed through the decal. I'm getting ready to do a triple lubester I've had for a while and I may try to find another style rack for it that I can use a round or oval decal on the original S&H bottles. Still haven't decided on the brand I'm going with on that one yet. Anyway, I think the new bottles and chrome spouts really set off this rack with the bright colors on it. Your decals were a perfect fit on the bottles DB....

The only racks like this one that I have seen were Mobil. Does anybody have one in a different company or have pictures of one in something other than Mobil? There was one of these racks at Iowa but it was a red Mobil and even though this one was very rusty when I found it, you could see the outline of the Mobil decal on one side and there was still red paint on the underside of it. Just wonder what othere companies used this rack. I'm pretty sure it was predominantly a west coast piece but not sure. I found this one in Mississippi so maybe they were in use everywhere. On to the next project.....GB

Nice. If it ever seems sad, there's a home awaiting it back here in Mississippi.
