I wanted to give my clock a name, something
besides "The Fake Clock" or "A Computer Converted Into A Clock, or "The Clock Formally Known As "Computer"....so I came up with this....The hands are a V . The dr is a der.....put it together and it sounds like that big corporation that has more lawyers than I can afford.

Here is the clock in action.... The trim around face are the ones I am having made.
866 bezel is on loan, or I would have spruced it up. Ron's Faces.
I just can't wait to go play with it again...

Looks good Joe, but why does the bell ring at 17? Shouldn't it ring at 0?

I don't know ....Computers ring before the gallon...Most old gas pump mechanics still called computers, clocks....You can easily adjust it to wherever you want it, with a set screw.
Can anyone tell me when the chime on a clock
rings.....????????

You are right on the computer it does ring before, between the 8 and 9 tenths. But with the speed of motor running the computer the bell rings through the 9 tenths to the 0. I think if you set it to go off at the 19 and a 1/2 to 3/4 it would be more correct. At least visually it would seem correct. I have never seen an original clockface work, but this would feel right.

I had to turn the clock very slowly because of the speed at which the camera works....
If I had turned it any faster is starts acting like "strobe" effect. I had a video of a working clock...950-a...as far as I recall it rang before the gallon.
I think this was to alert attendant before he passed the gallon. With an audible device they could keep up with the amount of delivery while doing other things to your car.And customer could keep up with delivery as well. Just remember...You have to send a computer with a bell to get a clock with a bell

Did you notice after it is loaded you can actuate clock by left click on little
circle thing and hold... move it left and right....watch hands turn. COOL!

Someone said they wanted to see my clock all "done up" in a pump.....Here are the first of my clocks to go into Wayne 60 pumps.
They have reset handles like computer to turn the clock. A reset knob like what is on the 866 can be used also, but the crank handle allows for a more "fluid" movement.
I did not restore these....

Your right on re: bell ringing BEFORE the full gallon (zero).. It was to alert both the driver and attendant..
