I have a chance to purchase a Bee Line alignment service sign but dont know anything about it. The sign has a picture of a large Bee on it. It is a tin sign about three feet by two feet. Anyone know th approx age that Bee Line was around? Not sure how much to offer. Thanks

PERSONALLY SPEAKING, I WOULDN'T THROW ANY MORE THAN ABOUT $75-100 AT IT SINCE IT'S GOT SEVERAL HOLES RIGHT IN THE FIELD. DOES THAT SMALL PRINT AT THE BOTTOM GIVE YOU ANY IDEA ON AGE, ETC? LOOKS LIKE EARLY 60'S - 70'S.

IS HE FIRM ON THAT OR WILL HE TAKE $75? IS THERE SHIPPING OR A LONG DRIVE INVOLVED? THAT ALWAYS ADDS TO THE COST!

GOOD LUCK IF YOU GO FOR IT!

Doc,
I don't think that's the same company. The Beeline in the sign must have sold alignment equipment to garages and service stations. Not likely that a local repair shop would have been into that.

I agree though on the value of the sign. the bee graphic really makes it collectible, but the holes in the middle of the sign seriously hurt the value. Still would display OK if you're not picky. Hey, all my signs aren't perfect. Some I couldn't afford if they were. LOL
