Hey, I was just wondering if any of you all are doing anything with late 70s / 80s pumps? Ive seen a few for sale around my area, and almost every gas station here has went to the MPD's with credit cards... Just wondering, i know they're not much of a collectors item now, but if you have "restored" one of these, id like to see some pictures

I am hoping to get a set of late 60's -70's stainless side pumps myself, for a 70's oil embargo themed island to go in front of my garage when I move. Also would like a Tokheim with digital LED display like we had in the 80's. I will get them as soon as I find them.
Antique? It's new to me.

I'm also interested in pumps from the 50's, 60's, 70's. If anyone is local to PGH, let me know if you have any. I have a 57 chevy and trying to get a theme going in my garage also.

I'am all about newer gas pumps. For me I'am trying to relive my teenage years of working at the local Amoco gas station pumping gas on full serve. Granted back then we told our friends we were professional petroleum injectionists. LOL I Paid $25 for the Gulf pump and $100 for the Amoco pump. Not bad ha!

Glad to see someone collect the newer pumps. Alot of them go to the scrap yard since the market is not real big for them. I will keep you in mind when I run across the newer ones now

Some fuel companies use these pumps in card lock applications.
The Tokheim model 785 pump is very popular in western Washington state in card lock applications. Acme Fuel here in Olympia uses the 785 pump exclusively in all their card lock fuel stations.

Hey Service Garage. What model is the Gulf pump? I've been looking for a pump like that but didn't know what model it was. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I'd like to get one of those sometime. So far I just have the face plate. My parents ran a Gulf station in the 70s so I thought it would be cool to get one from that time period. Thanks.
