Great stuff!
Daryl, is the surface of that sign like sandpaper?
Been a pretty good week for me. My first set of "twins" and I saw my first twin visible, in person, and also a amazing Wayne Roman Visible!
My first substantial piece of Texaco. I'm not usually a fan but I am of this!! It's all in great working condition.
MORE RABBITS!! Ha ha. This set of "twins" are a welcome addition. I had 8 and 6 went away and now this set of twins and 2 other 30 gal lubesters lately.

No Dave. Just some rusty crackled paint.

Thanx guys!
Daryl, ok, to me it kinda looked like this 'crushed glass' sign that was recently posted about. http://www.oldgas.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=490449#Post490449
Nice rusty crackled Sunoco sign!

Here is the signs after I took them off and cleaned them up. I took a pic of the "inspected by Texaco" that was still on the back of each but it cleaned off when I was cleaning the back of each one. :{
These have the red in the "A". One of them has some funky lines in places but they both are in amazing shape. All brass grommets are intact and only a few chips.
The body of the lubester is in great shape with no pitting and no dents that I have found yet. Perfect piece for a full restoration!

Sweet Dave. Hard diligent work, luck and look results. Anymore bunnies in the yard and you can cook them in the porcelain stove right behind where they are penned. smile
