I believe the sign translates roughly to "Take Texaco".

French is often more verbose than english - but more specific in meaning.

That means : Take some Texaco

or more like : (Why don't you) take some Texaco (Products) ?

The three dots are commonly used in french when the rest of the sentence is obvious... or to make you think, etc

Marque Déposée means Registred Trademark.

I would say that it may have been use in the province of Quebec or... in France? Anybody know if Texaco was doing business there??

In fact where is that sign located?

Somebody looking to buy it (or sell it)?

I seem to remember an ad jingle that went: "Wherever you go, Take Texaco!"
and ad copy of the same. But that was in english, I don't know if the same program was in Quebec in francais... but this might be part of that campaign if it was.
