Is there someone out there that would be interested in re-lidding a couple quart oil cans for a student of mine? This boys family owns a scrapping business and he's started keeping an eye out for old oil cans and other gas/oil related stuff. The two cans are in ok shape, but they have a couple of small dents in them - can those be taken out as well? Thanks!
Chris

Dick Bennett is the relid king. He fixes the dent also.

Ok -- when I see him tomorrow, I'll tell him to bring them to school on Tuesday so we can get some pictures.

My student had his mom run his cans up to school at lunchtime, so here are a couple pictures of the one good can. The other one was really rough. They were both Sioux Motor Oil cans. Since that company is out of Newcastle, Wyoming, he really wants to get this one fixed. The entire bottom lid is gone from this can, but it was opened very carefully and does not have a ragged edge at all.

We got the cans back from the person that re-lidded them for us, and they look great! I want to thank them very much for their effort, the quality job they did.
