I figured as much, thanks for the help Rex, I knew you'd be the one with the answers. Doc, the small print says "Texlite-Dallas" thats what tipped me off and why I bid, who marks a repro like that.

Pogo, it looks perfectly original.
There were three styles used - black border on the west coast, this type in Texas and surrounding states (Magnolia "territory"?) and the blue border otherwise.
I believe they run close to $200 if perfect!

I have that same exact plate. It is original and we were all sleeping or it would have gone much higher. Every once in awhile a guy lucks out. I"ll offer you double what you paid for it. Ted

Lance, I see how come nobody else had a chance. A buy it now deal. The seller didn't know what he had. I got a Sinclair Diesel pump plate that way a while back. $35 buy it now deal. We all keep watching and it pays off sometimes. Ted
