Hello All, I have the opportunity to choose between a M&S 80 tall with the sight glass at the top or a Wayne 80 pump as a gift from a friend of mine who owned a Standard bulk plant. They are both in good complete condition and very solid. Is one model more desirable than the other? I know they are both 50's pumps and basically the same design, and I'm well aware they aren't particularly valuable, just wondering which one would be the best to snag! Thanks for any opinions, Darin

...if I was going to put a crown-shaped globe on it, and restore it authentically as Standard of Indiana, I'd pick the M&S tall...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

I'd pick the tall also. There aren't as many of them around. Richard

Darin--take the MS 80 tall. Much more desireable. It just looks the part, more than the Plain--Jane--Wayne!!!

I agree with the above posts. Most people would take the tall. And like Kevin said, it just looks better!!
