I always like looking at this one when visiting my Dad (it's on his garage). Maybe it's because I don't get to see it everyday like I do my signs, either way I just love the old look to it. By the way, Dave R. that Barq's sign is awesome, nice one.

Hard to just pick a few. These two have interesting stories behind them and are both local companies so for that reason they are a couple of my favorites.

WOW! We have some nice signs. It is easy to get caught up in the more, more, more trap, but I like that this thread is about quality and maybe a little sentiment.

Thanks for sharing.

My favorit is this in from Norway's first oil refinery which was 12 mil from my home. They collaborated with the Norwegian Standard companies that invented the Esso tiger. It's from the 1920's

Very cool signs, guys!
I don't own my all time favorite sign anymore (Dutch Boy Paints) but this one is it for the ones I own. The font is amazing on it!
There is also my large Orange Crush sign behind it, The Old Yellow Stop sign and my Autolite sign that has the GT40 graphic with out having "Ford" after Autolite. They are the keepers, SO FAR. wink
I love my Ford/Mercury sign too!

Dennis, looking at your signs I got a little scared, I thought I saw my mother-in-law sitting in the stagecoach!

A Gates Tire sign is mine, it's not much to some but it was given to me by a friend who helped me get into the hobby and sold me many signs He has since passed so this one has a special meaning to me.

My favorite sign I have( sorry I don't have a picture of it) Is a 8 ft. by 4ft, single side porcelain Mobiloil sign that advertises Metro Gas swell, and pictures a pre visible gas pump with Metro Gas globe! Its very rough, but no one has seen another one!

Good oil cans don't wait for people, people wait for them.
