Terre Haute, Indiana good friend and avid collector Dave Parr passed away today in surgery. Dave was one of the reasons I got into Petroliana and my heart goes out to his wife Linda. Dave had been in the Hospital since the Indiana Gas Show 3 weeks ago and had surgery today.

I will post funeral information and more details as soon as I find out.

Eric

Dave was one of the first people I met in this hobby. His Indiana show was the first show I ever set up to sell my excess. My heart goes out to Linda in this difficult time. The hobby has lost a good man. RIP Dave.

I did not know the man, but I still hate these kind of post's. I know they will happen from time to time, that's life. It just stinks!!

My prayers to his family!

Dave was a fantastic guy! ALWAYS had the time to answer questions and return my calls...Indiana Gas was also one of my very first shows I set up at...Dave worked very hard for everyone in getting Indiana Gas started in the first place AND then getting it going again this year! I hope someone keeps it going in his memory!!! Prayers for Linda and the Family!

My best friend Dave Parr passed away yesterday after a fight against a virus.Dave and Linda are the promoters of the Indiana Gas Show,He was so sick he couldn't make it this year to his own show. The show ended on a Saturday and she put him in the Hospital at 3am Sunday and he was in ICU up till his passing yesterday.Dave was one of the Pioneers in this hobby as I have been it for over 25yrs and when I first met him, Linda and Dave were holding auctions at there place if business in Terre Haute. You may have seen them at the Ad Show or Coin-Op as they were there alot.
Will miss you Dave

I'm so sorry about the passing of Dave Parr. He was a great guy and will be greatly missed. It has always been a pleasure to see him and Linda at the swap meets and car shows. Dave and Linda both are some of the best people you could ever know. My heart goes out to Linda as she works through the loss of Dave.

God Bless
Lynn Senesac
