Classy move. Wish more would follow your lead. I really would like to see the crowd around your truck when you arrive.
If it was me I would pull in and then walk around and shop a bit. When no one is paying attention quickly lay your stuff out. Its amazing how the vultures will appear out of nowhere. I did that once and nearly sold out in 30 minutes at my asking prices.

Rick, won't be in a hurry to open up. To be honest 75% of the Pm's I've received have been from flippers/dealers. I'm prepared to haul my signs back if they don't sell. My son in Texas will get them sooner or later and that's like falling in a black hole, where they'll never see the light of day again. For those who have asked for pics

Yes, we have to get back by Sunday afternoon, so I will be leaving on Thursday for sure. Sure wish I could find someone to haul the street light stuff back and save the $2000.00 in gas.

If I remember that is correct Bryce but staying there is worth it. Free beer and free breakfast can't beat that.

Originals only for me. Always looking for Simpson oil, Super A, and MFA oil cans and globes.

Bryce- If your just going to buy, you dont have to pay any fee that I know of. we've stayed at the hotel a few times and just reserved our room and just showed up. I dont think we were doing anything wrong as far as I knew-lol. If your planning on selling out of your room, that may be a different story. Call Diana @ CTO 800-228-6624 She'll answer your questions better than I.

hmmm... ok. well I paid the $50 registration fee because without it, it wont let you book it thru their website. it lists the room-to-room as a separate fee. and I did try to call them 3 times, and left a message over a week ago with no response.

the website is very helpful and convenient, but the only thing that doesnt make sense to me is the registration fee.

The way it works is, to be able to register at the host hotel you need to pay a registration fee of $35.00 to CTO and that includes drinks and breakfast... room cost is $114.00 per nite. I know some of the guys that wish to cheat, stay at the hotels in the area and drink and eat at the Embassy for free... not very well accepted in my opinion.. and definitely not good for the show promoter..

thanks for clarifying Wes... like I said, I already paid the fee and I have no issue with it.

The registration fee of $35 goes to CTO for putting on the show, without a show promoter there wouldn't be a show. The registration fee allows you to have a room at the hotel for $114.00 .

not sure why you paid $50 as opposed to $35

as far as the drinks and breakfast it's always included at the Embassy with a registration even without this show. That isn't anything special.. standard with this Embassy.
