Ran accross this air meter today and I know values are all across the board on meters so what do you think the value of this meter would be and should it be restored or just stay as is? thanks for any help.

Many people will disagree with me but I would pay no more than $500 for a decent 97. They are very common and if they need repair the parts add up fast.


The most valuable commodity I know of is information-Wall Street

Lowest I found that sold on ebay was $565. 99.99% of gas pumps don't work, so unless your wanting to fill tires 1-2X a year, I wouldn't worry about working.

Looks like it was repainted at least twice in it's life.
White on top of green on top of?
That,along with shattered glass is really an eye sore for something trying to claim "as found".
I'd say $5-600 and then needs to be bead blasted & restored.

I did show it to the guy that does my body work and he says if I take it apart for him he can make it look new for a fair price.Going to start tearing it down and ording parts today. Thanks for the input.
