We are looking to maybe make another run of these tires that would fit on gas carts. We did these for the Boyle-Dayton cart pictured and would like to do for all of the carts out there. I have asked for other wheels in which we could Check for various sizes. These are one piece vulcanized tires made of hard rubber. You would warm them up and roll over the edge of your wheel, the warmth would allow some flexibility. This was done about 15 years ago and I do not even have the prices of the tires still in the file. Not sure what the price would be, but They sure ad to the cart.

Just updating everyone on the tires. Went and looked at the product and was very pleased with the ones for the Bath carriage we are doing. This is the same people that we used before on the above cart. He had told me that this will not be a problem. I am bringing one of my old rims from the Boyle-Dayton in for exact fitting so that there is no slip and the size is correct. If you have other sizes we will need close up pictures and detail measurements so that we can get these exact for other brands.
Thanks

Are they smooth [as pictured] or have tire threads like originals?

They are smooth. All of the ones I have had were also smooth, probably because they were worn off. Did not ever see that they had grooves or notches like tires. Smooth does look good though. Did notice that some in Jack's book looked like they were white tires. Anyone have any on their carts ?

Here is a picture the way the smaller tires look. Did not have to take the wheel apart, but for the thinner sheet metal small tires you may want to. Picking the larger tires up today and they look just fine. Our tires were made for the Boyle-Dayton cast iron big wheels so for the other manufacturers we made need one of them for a template. We went through the try it and re try it phase for sizing and without a template each one is tough to get just right.

Well here are some pictures of the tires for the Boyle-Dayton carts. The other sizes I will probably have to have a rim here for fitting. There are I may be wrong but about 14 different makers of the carts and looks like some used other manufacturers wheels. The depth of some wheels are different as are the sizes and thickness of wheel frame itself. I would prefer to have one here so that I can get the correct size and thus have it on file for others.

I recently acquired a Boyle-Dayton gas cart and need a set of new tires for it. Can you give me more information about availability and cost. The original tires are red in color, Thanks
