I had one just like that once . I was told it was a repop and still paid 300.00 for it . Wasn't that a smart move . 75.00 item ! Live and learn .
I like SINCLAIR and old American made stuff ... No china items.

I have one of these, but the globe is painted red just like an original globe. It is however actually a lamp that was available to dealers. It came with a swag type hook-up on the top and chain with electric cord to plug in the light, as I have. I have been told it originally also came with or was available with, a nice wood base and globe holder for putting on your desk. I would think it to be more rare than the many regular globes out there. JMO. Ed.

Originals were made in early 50's & only as Swag Lamps. Bottom opening was approx. 1/4" x 1/2" rim straight down, NOT flanged like the repop, Orig. were sanded flat & repop are heat smooth. Repops were also made w/ a small 3/8-1/2" hole in top for use of lamp rod. ALL Translucent Colored CROWNS are FANTASY ITEMS.
