Several factors to consider on this one. It is probably one of the most desirable globe lenses out there. But the condition is not perfect. Lets see how the upper end buyers will do on this one. I am going to say _____________________. Maybe I won't say anything, I think I want to bid on it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I looked at the lens at Fred's and it is just as he has described it. I think what he was asking at Fred's was a fair price. A lens in near mint condition would sell for $25,000 to $30,000 in today's market. Dan

Well, it didn't sell after stalling out at a measly $7877.00. Must be all of the big dogs are watching their $ in these trying times like the rest of us have been for a while now. Have a good one everyone!

How would anyone verify that that is a real item? Thousands of dollars for a piece of glass is frightening! Is that silk screened paint or layered glass enamel they used?
Antique? It's new to me.
