I really like the logo but on Blazo 1 gallon cans ..... not so much ! Z

To someone that collects Chevron/Standard of CA stuff, those would be pretty nice!

I would certainly think a Chevron collector would be interested in these, especially with the original shipping box which is probably harder to find than the cans! I bet the stamped numbers are probably the date code, May of 1965 but I'm not an expert in this brand by any means, lol. I wouldn't put them out with the morning trash just yet! wink

Not an expert on Chevron. I am under the impression that in 1955, the company adopted the Chevron hallmark as a uniform symbol for all product packages. I.E. Victory wings were dropped from the logo.

Thanks Dave, that helps a lot ! That being the case & why I asked is that these are pretty nice for being that old ! I assumed pre-1960.

They will display nicely on one of my shelves :-) Z
