I am moving right along with my 1940 Wayne 70 pump. Sand blast for doors and sides is done, frame is completed and painted, chrome pieces are cleaned, etc.

So, here is my question! Is there a vendor for this form (or any other source) that carries the actual screws that attach the sides to the frame? Also, how about the small screws that hold the chrome bezel assembly?

Another quick question. As most of you are aware, there are some small rectangular shaped (aluminum) fasteners that hold the frame for the ad glass bezel assembly. Where do I get them or is there another way to install the glass?

Lastly, how do you light your pumps? Use the original lights or use something else?

Thanks for the help.

I have very good luck with Home Depot for screws and nuts, they have small packages of slotted screws and even had the brass nuts for them. For the trim items try an auto parts store, they use the same kind of barrel nuts for car moldings.

Nuts, bolts, screws..go to your local hardware store.

As far as lighting I use the original conduit and switch but completely re-wire it and replace the sockets with new ones. The sockets are available through all the restoration vendors.

Under no circumstances would I advise using the original wiring unless you want to see your hard work go up in flames.

As far as your tabs if you are looking for originals try Tom Buckles or Ryan Underthun

Mcmaster-Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/

They have everything hardware and fastener related. Unbelievable amount of items, fast delivery and great prices. Bought everything I needed for the Wayne 70s I did a few years ago as well as the pair of 60s I'm doing now and many other projects.
