Wasn't sure what category this should be in so I put it here.I sold some cans the other week. I have my paypal account linked to my hotmail address. When I was seneding pictures of the cans I used the phone and my Gmail address. Long story short, the money was sent to the wrong email address and I am having trouble adding that email address to my PayPal account. Plus my old phone broke and I lost all my old emails. Can the buyer somehow cancel the payment and send it to my correct address?

If that email is not on your paypal account it will not go thru and should kick back to him as undeliverable.

Go to your paypal history. It will show whether it has been paid or is still pending. If you had an incorrect e-mail address and the payment had no where to go then it will show as still pending. If it is pending then you can cancel it.

If that dont work wes, have your buyer CANCEL his payment then resend it to correct address...simple...
