Hi Everyone: An antique dealer called me and asked about a value on this sign. About 4X6, both sides are about the same. There is some surface rust that i believe would clean up. He just got it and has not had time to do anyting to it. sorry about only one side of pic, but it was about minus 12 the day I took a quick picture. I told him that the size makes it a challenge to ship and he realizes that. I told him the folks on Oldgas could give him some history and a retail value. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I have no idea. It is not my area of knowledge and I have no interest in purchasing it. Anyone? $300? $500? $1,000..no clue here. I don't even know if Calso was in Montana

From what Ive heard, that sign was used in Calso's Rocky Mountain marketing region.
I haven't seen a lot of them. Uncommon?

Sign is pretty plain so a "quick flip" will be tough unless you find a collector that particularly collects that brand. Nothing about that sign would be catchy displayed for the public to see.

The sign is rough! I'd think $300 would be a stretch.

$100 -200 for the guy who wants to fill space in his garage... Its HUGE. I would pass at anything over $50.

In SC I'd easily manage $400 for a double sided sign in that condition without a frame. However in your neck of the woods retail might be less.

As far as appeal, I'd say it looks far better than any 70's and up Exxon, Marathon, or such.
