Well Dave...I purchased it from an auction quite a few years ago. Just got lucky and bid the highest with no story behind it....BUT, the original owner of this told me that he got a call from an old man about a pump that was for sale. When he arrived at the gentleman's home, which was way out in the forest in the Pacific Northwest in the middle of nowhere, he was amazed to see the pump with globe on top sitting out next to the guys barn. If my memory serves me, I think he said the pump was still operational and hooked up to an underground tank.
