Brady, Steve and Rick thank you so much for the input. I really do think they look fine too. After looking through different topics here and searching ideas on the web I am leaning on keeping them original. I do like the rustic look to them. It is almost as if you look at them and they have a story to tell about each individual pump.

Thank you Brady, Steve and Rick. I really appreciate all the suggestions and input from you all and everyone that has posted so far. One of the pumps looks like it has been painted with a roller when you look up close and I think the other is an older restore. They have been outside for some time. Right now I think I may do what Steve said and just give them a good clean up and replace some trim on each of them.

I don't know if going to Jarvis' house is such a good idea. He might pass the Jarvis Jinx onto you and you might start Jarvisizing globes.
Just kidding. John is a good guy and great friend.... even if he did used to break a lot of globes wink

Wanted: Gas pump globes:Sinclair & affiliates, IL companies. Ripple bodies. Anything Sinclair, Stoll, Pierce, 4 Bros.

Bringing up the Ohio and car stereos bring back a lot of memories for me. I grew up just a couple blocks from the Ohio and Kanawa rivers and remember how proud I was when I installed a Craig eight track stereo in my 64 Chevelle SS. I miss living by the river. Happy New Year! Brady

Looks like a fun project but ya I would probably leave it as well. Find one not as in good of shape to restore. Its more challenging
