What are your New Years aspirations for your collecting?

Mine is to try and buy more pumps now that I have room for them. I thoroughly enjoy a good pump more than a good sign. You get more for the money and usually a small project out of it. Seems there is always a few pieces each pump needs to be complete even without restoring. And I enjoy completing them.

I would also like to add cans & neon to my Chevy neon signs that I've had nailed to wall for a few years now.

Mine is to complete my first pump restoration. I've got a G&B 992 torn apart. I've started to sand blast it and will be making my first attempt at metal bumping the doors in the coming week.

It's all a learning process for me, but I will complete my first pump this year!

Same as Jeff just on a Tokheim 39 short. I'd also like to find a nice Oldsmobile antifreeze can.

I plan to sort, clean and organize my collection!
I'd also like to add at least one neon, and of course, I'm always on the hunt for the "uber rare" Cities Service pieces!
My little shop is pretty full, but I will just sell off something else whenever I come across one of those "Have to Have" Cities Service pieces!

I hope to add a few nice globes to my collection this year.
Of course I'll still be looking for items from Sinclair and it's affiliates.

I plan on getting my remodel done on the shop and building a room for display of my collection. I have globes setting in precarious places and if I don't make a safer place for them I am going to be really mad when they get knocked over and broken. I figure if I can build a specific place for the items I want to keep maybe I will actually start selling and upgrading a few items to narrow down the keepers to the best quality items. It's just awfully hard for me to turn loose of anything!....GB

Right now I have 700 2 gallon cans or so, and Id like to get the collection over 1000 this year. Id also like to start buying some more quarts, in anticipation of collecting those once it becomes too difficult to get new 2 gallons.

I've been trying to convince myself to sell some doubles and multiples of items...

Just get one gallons and maybe some other size cans that I like. Maybe a pump or 2...

Would like to find my first complete original globe this year. Would also like to fill some shelves I have up with some neat cans.

This years main hobby goal, hopefully in spring, is to get the inside of the garage finished (fully insulated, total climate controlled, fancy floor...) and finally get the collection displayed properly. But the house has to have a new roof. Which means the garage also gets a new roof. And i want to budget into all that to have the back half of the garage roof restructured into a gable in order to support the height of a visible pump some day. Kind of a tall order financially.
The best laid plans of mice and men. We'll see.

I hope to add some more smalls to my Collection... Most notably a Tydol "Bulls-eye" feature matches and maybe stumble over any other Tydol/Veedol feature matches that I don't have...

After seeing some of the other great features that have been shared here... I will also, be on the lookout for a couple Sunoco features that I don't have...

(maybe, I will even find a Mobilgas Pegasus Paper Glider to add to my little collection)

My goal is to add some quality pieces to my Sinclair collection and hopefully pick up a good clockface or two.

More signs, inventory the collection and bump up the insurance on it. Put up pine siding in my garage to hang up some of the overflow from the basement. Finish up some small stuff on a couple pumps. Go to shows and eat BBQ!
