This a 5 gallon Grizzly can from Saskatoon, Canada.
McKenna Distributors Ltd.
Apparently there were 3 or 4 such gas stations in Saskatoon back in the day, no on else is known to have a can, unless someone on here can share their knowledge of this company.

Don't believe it has any relationship to the US Grizzly brand??

Anyone??

I love the pictures of old downtown Saskatoon! LOL.
Mike do you know where that station was located? Where's Ken Bird when you need him?

Wow, Mike, this is a new one on me, I have a couple of questions, is there a date on the bottom of the can, and is there any information on your picture. I tried to do a little research on google but couldn't get into the Saskatoon history archives. All I could find is a blurb about a Grizzly Gas Station which is the name of the station, seems like they sold Esso or Imperial Oil products. I may have to take another trip to the Library, they got lots of history on the local service stations and oil companies. Those are very interesting and cool items you have there Mike, it may take me a while, but I too would like to know the history of your items.
I would take a guess that your pic is from the late '20's to early '30's and being there are no buildings close by, I'm thinking on the outskirts along Idylwyld Drive, or the old 11th street, 22nd street or Sutherland area. Thanks for posting these.
Ken.
