went to look at a visible today but someone beat me to it & it went for 50.00.
they sent me down the road to another visible hiding behind a barn.
GONE also with the fill pipe still sticking out of the ground where it sat.
came home empty but these 2 skins were leaning aginst the garage when we pulled in. the rest of the pump is on its way when they can dig it out of their barn.
i painted a sign for a guy & he told me about a pump he had so i said 'ill take that!' didnt have a clue as to what it was only that it was about 6' tall.
i guess the rest of the pump is nice to with phillips-66 ad glass. i hope its a clockface! --- the spears are all there on the doors & nice.

This isn't a "buy of the week" it is more of a gift of the week... I got this today from our buddy Hubba. (a welcome to Seattle gift!) Thanks again Hubbba!
How cool is this, I have never seen anything like it. It is from Glendale, CA too!

Doc,
I got this Tokheim 36B today.  Looks a little rough but it has the top except for the very top piece that holds the globe.  Anyone have an extra and door with face bezel?
Thanks for posting these pics, Doc, and all you do for the site.

Here some recent buys. I just got around to taking the pictures.

First, front cover of a neat little pocket map 3" x 4 1/2"

Here's the back cover.

Next is a 1 gallon gas can. Anyone have an idea of when this was used 1920's???

Wadhams Bonded Oil, was this after they bought out Bartles???

And lastly, 1 gallon oil can.

Any experts out there that can help me date these? Any help would be appreciated.

Despite the rain, the wind, the floods and the "Kung Pao Chicken Flu" I had a "banner" week of collecting.

Well, actually I just collected a couple of cheap banners.

This is a rough Beacon, but it is "Beacon".

This is a big Goodyear to go with my blow up blimp flying high above my little Petro Paradise.

Great job on the "Header" DOC! I wonder who'd win the "race" to the car at the pumps? I'd go with the "Minute Man"!!! Some great buys this week!
