The current POTM has been posted for four days and the interest has dwindled the past couple of days. Is it because of it's unique format this month? Is it because many of our members are on the beach or lake basking in the sun vaction-kinda-thing?
Being this is your post, not mine, if I you think I should post a normal POTM for June I will do it PRONTO!! I have some pictures already loaded for the next brand / model, roaring to roll!
Please give me some input, I want to do you guys a good job and I just need some guidence.
Sincerely,

Neal

How about restored pumps with just glass bodied globes, including ripple.

or... just pumps restored to independent oil companies.. like IOMA.

Neal,
I just went back and checked last month's POTM on the Tok 39. Posts this month are out-pacing last months feature by far!
I don't see any need to change now. After all the Tok 39 feature got a tremendous response and this month is going better yet.

The type of feature you're doing this month (any pump as long as its a certain brand of gas) would be great 2 or 3 times a year to compliment our traditional POTM where a certain pump is featured.

Ethan,
Perhaps you could convince Neal to put IOMA pumps on his list for a feature like the current one.

I don't see any way to have a successful POTM with criteia such as a cetrain type of globe on it.

My vote is to let this month's feature ride. Even if participation drops in the following days, I think it's been a good feature. Keep in mind that participation drops alot in the summer months.

If you will let me know what the POTM will be about 2 weeks ahead of time, I will prepare an article and information sheet about the pump. It will include much more information than the captions in my book. I may be able to include some pictures that no one has ever seen. I will submit this to the moderator and he can post it after his announcement of the pump.

John, the problem is that people (myself included) don't really take the time to do "before" pictures but the "after" pictures are aplenty. Many also don't really even think about taking pictures with the doors open. I agree with you, that'd be neat. I have made myself a promise to take more before, during and internal pictures.
Something I do try to push on POTM is to see pumps before and during restoration. Maybe your suggestion will spark something and get it rolling.
I'm not busting chops here guys, like I said "I'm the most guilty person on oldgas when it comes to not taking well rounded pictures of a pump".
