OK, guys i will post these pictures, however after you look at them, help me figure out whose brand they are. I dug them out of a bulk plant at Wapella Ill. about 7,8 years ago. The owner told me that it his father ran it as a Texaco, plant from 1930 till about 1947, then he had a dispute with Texaco, an switched to Phillips. They sold gas at their station across the highway all this time. The signs were never installed, and the little bags hold the mounting screws. The bigger signs are 15" by 4", the smaller ones are 10" by 2 1/2" and are dated 3-41. The brown has a kind of wood grain texture, and the letters are beige. I appreciate any help you can give me, thanks Norm Huff

I believe that yellow no smoking sign is original & it's a Shell sign (I have the same sign & it was pulled off an old Shell station before it was demolished.

The Ladies sign is marked Continental Oil Co.
Also have a green on while Ladies flange, kinda art deco w/lines that I'm sure we will see, seems it was used for different Oil Companies, mine came off an old Quaker State station.

** I'd like to know if this Mobil sign is original or not, seems like painted aluminum or tin, shiney on the back ** Was told it was original nos when I swapped for it, but??

Thanks

Not a Mobil expert, but I have a number of Marathon signs, some dating back to the 1980's that are made the same way. "paint on aluminum". I know the Marathon ones I have are original.
