Here it is from begining to end. My first pump (with help and Guidance from dad). He had the pump doors, sides, top, and 15 inch metal body painted for me.  My dad and I taking the pump apart. Probably the hardest part physically.  The pump frame rust free and primed. Done by me in a residential neighborhood. My neighbors think I'm crazy.  Pump frame painted, computer cleaned, and electical hooked up.  A little help from my 3 1/2 year old daughter, Rachael. She loves Polly Gas just as much as I do.  Showing off my add glass!!!  Rachael helping out some more. She loves those original brass nozzles as much as I do.  Finally finished and put together this weekend. That 15 inch Mike Slama Polly Globe makes a simple pump like this Bennett here a lot more attractive.  Another view. I wanted to sleep out in the garage last night, but its too cold. Maybe this Summer. That was the most fun I've had doing any restoration project.  And this is my next project. I was going to wait, but I decided to start this weekend. Great Job Jason...AWESOME..Thumbs up my friend. I for one know a great pump restoration takes more than just one person (Family/Friends/restoration supply dealers, and the great knowledgable folks that us e this site and I think its cool you mentioned the people that helped. Way to go !!

Thanks Guys. Like I said this hobby is the best. Alot of you inspired me throughout this project. Reading your stories and seeing your pictures. I Love you man!!!! To answer a couple of questions: Cans and Stuff I don't know what the color is because I told my Dad to pick a dark green since nobody really knows the actual real Polly color - I just wanted it to look good. Scott, that is a Polly Prem can, but it is an earlyman 34 repro because I couldn't afford the original yet. It will take me some time before I get the real thing. The pump looks good Jason, nice and straight. that green looks good also.
Look at that killer 15" Polly gas Globe, from
the glass Master, Mike Slama. looks great.

Nice work Jason, it looks great! Glad you got one done! I have a bennett like that, looks cool all done. I like the tall ones.

I didn't know you would get it done this quick. The paint was barely dry on Thursday. Starting on the next one? What happened to I'm going to wait and take my time. Just like the old man can't wait for anything. Ha Ha. I love it. To fill you in on the paint. Picked out of a PG color book for automotive paint. Its a base coat clear coat. Sprayed a sample looked great but the best surprise is when you take it in the sunlight it brings out a whole new look. I could get the number if anyone is interested. Scott the Harley can on the becnch came from pops. Jason really looks good and I'll have to see the whole thing done in person. I've created a monster the pump monster. Ted

Dad, I decided to start the Visible this weekend because I won't have much time after we move next year and I admit that I have an addiction.(Hey, it's the first step) It will take some time before that visible comes apart. Those bolts are rusted tight. I might have someone do the body work and paint around here if it doesn't cost too much. I want to make sure that you get your pumps done. Hopefully the school can finish your painting before summer. HAHA. Thanks for all your help Dad, I couldn't have done it without you. ~Jason
