I offer this farmer $15 bucks for this GG sign, he says $25 for the pump and the sign. I say I don't really want the pump, it's rusted off it's base, etc. He says "Ok, $15 for the sign, but you have to take the pump too." A deal was struck. Here is the sign cleaned up and the banks I got from 5 Quart. (Thanks Don)

Got this Zephyr Pam clock off of eBay from an auction that didn't meet reserve. The seller "gasoildude" Brad Ralston made me a deal and even met me in person halfway between our homes to make the swap (100 miles for each of us). I appreciated that since I have had two clocks get smashed on their way to me over the past few years. Brad visits Oldgas.com sometimes. I went to pickup some free Old Volvo parts, saw this clock on the wall and complimented it, the man said it was now mine! So Cool. [This message has been edited by bchevy (edited 12-10-2004).]

I never know if the stuff I buy during the week should go on next weeks post or this one, but since I buy most of my stuff on the weekend I'll show you what I got yesterday on this post. Another "little" Richfield sign for the back of my barn. Now I just need the eagles to go with it. Drove to the little town of Lockwood, California in Southern Monterey County to pick up the sign along with these goodies too. Wish that oil rack still had the Mobil shield on it. Got a few older California license plates and the golden poppy sign below also. The little Delco sign came from Creston, California (even smaller than Lockwood). Hoping to get more from this guys collection. He has some really nice cans.

Poppy sign, what poppy sign? I don't see any poppy signs (or road signs or highway signs or anything with "Property of the State of.." on it.
That barn is horizontal old growth California redwood 1x12 with 1x3 Oregon Spruce batts, the fence is Douglas Fir "2 Corral Board on 4x4 pressure treated posts. (That's for Elden and Dodogas)
