Since we have done lighters we have decided to go ahead and do matches as well. If you need help posting a picture you can email me and I will post for you. The first 2 sets of matches are from my hometown of Kansas City, Missouri and they are Hudson Oil Company & Nourse Oil Comapny. Lets see some matchbooks.

This is the only matchbook cover I have so far. What can you expect from pollyman?

I purchased all (or most all) of the Jeff Pedersen matchbook collection at last year's auction, including bags of loose matchbooks not yet sorted or valued. The following pics show the ones that were in his binder book. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. The Sinclair matchbooks I don't already have, are the keepers for me.

Hey Ron, Could you do me a favor and check the flying a matchbooks you got from Jeffs. The one on the bottom of your page with the round Flying A logo. That doesn't happen to me a Landon Fuel one. I've been looking for that one for a while if it is. Thanks for checking

Scott...if i could get to these MB's I would just send it to him, but these are in a case and I didnt do a very smart thing. Its a matchbook frame made to display matchbooks and I lined them all up real nice and pretty and then screwed and glued it closed and put bamboo trim around it to match the tiki bathroom. while it was turned over and I was working on it ...some of the matchbooks drifted and werent all lined up pretty. I was pretty ticked off but instead of taking the whole thing apart ...I just left them...convinced myself it added character...LOL. It would certainly be a project getting that frame open with busting it all up. Oh well live and learn.

Cans and Stuff sent in these images with this comment:
"These are my favorites of the matchbooks I have. Note the variation on the 2 Polly's."

Thanks for sharing them with us Ethan.
