I drove about 150 miles today to look a some pumps a guy said he had in his barn. He didn't know what kind they were and they were missing a lot of pieces. Suffering from cabin fever I decided to brave the snow and ice and make the trip. As we were pulling in the driveway I told my wife this is probably a wasted trip but for once wouln't it be nice if it turned out to be a jackpot. She said she could by the "pep in my step" as I returned from the barn that it wasn't a wasted trip. A Clear Vision 220 visible with the cylinder still in the box, a Butler 71 visible missing some easily replaced skins,a Tokheim 36B and a remanufactured, unused Veeder Root Calculator. All for much less than what I was prepared to pay for just one pump. EVERY DOG HAS HIS DAY. Woof, woof.

He also had this neat ladies room light but he wouldn't part with it. But I'm not complaining.

Great score! A little off the topic, but I was wondering: Tim, are you related to the company Rohr Fuel Systems in Michigan?

Tim,
That Clear Vision looks more like a Bennett visible.

Like pumpman2 says,
"Keep an eye on that 36B top". I got one out of Utah a couple weeks ago, and one on ebay tonight. They sure make NICE globe holders !!! LOL

I'm not aware of Rohr Fuel Systems in Michigan but if he has money he can adopt me.

I believe you are right about that visible being a Bennett. I just took the owner's word for it that it was a Clear Vision. I was more concerned with figuring out how I was going to get it out of the barn than what brand it was.

The company is called Rohr fuel systems, and they install gas pumps and tanks, and I think they also handle signs.
