Here's a neat diner/cafe along old 66 in Springfield, IL. It appears to be closed down - what a shame! I definitely would have stopped in for a burger...

Check out the signpole on this ex-station car dealership!

The station along old Route 66 appears to be a former Texaco. The three narrow close bands is a Texaco signature on their station design.

The inside of the above station also several old chevron cans on a side wall but was unable to get a photo.

Here's a cool old station on I35 north of Waco.

A bar-b-que store now in Amarillo Tx.

Now that is a cool use for an old gas station. Here's one that didn't fare so well. It was converted into an old pecan shop. I guess pecans don't make as much as BBQ.
