If requested, the good people at CHEVRON, would put together a "Personalized Trip Kit" for you.

It would contain maps for your trip,....

These differed slightly from the ones that were available at your local Service Station. The Trip Kit, also included Highway Logs, which had basic information about the different locations on your trip.

There were different versions of these also....

I'll have more later.

1940 Texas, 1939 Nevada.....

Different maps, same covers. These maps even have Radio Logs, for tuning in radio stations.

On the left, 1934 Rand McNally. Take note of the Eagle, just above the "Standard". Its the NRA logo, with the words " We do our part". On the right, 1935 H.M. Gousha.

Chevron maps often had paintings of notable places, on the covers. As the years changed, so did those paintings. This is in line with their "See The West" series of pictures.

Two from California. El Capitan, Yosemite National Park, and California Poppies.

Here's three from Washington. Mount Ranier, Mount Baker, and Mount Index.

Last for this installment, two from Arizona.

Montezuma Castle, and Picacho Peak.

Edited for punctuation
