Here are some cans from my collection. I'm a sucker for a can with a picture of a guy with a 3 inch brush painting his tires. We don't do enough of that today.

Here's a Schrader counter sales cabinet shaped like the balloon tire gauge. It is 15" tall and 6" in diameter. Inside it has the brochure and 1930 price list for dealers. You could order 1000 Balloon Tire Gauges for $1980.00 back then if you were a dealer!
I have another one of these cabinets that is missing the top part....anybody have one for sale?

I'm usually on the bottom of the tote-um pole when it comes to having a descent can collection to help this topic out with but I do have something here I can add, 2- All-Nu Tire Patch Kits. I purchased these from an auction that liquidated an old Five & Dime store that closed in NC back in the 60's.

Also, QUARTCANS, you are doing a GREAT job with all your efforts on oldgas. I and the others appreciate your good work!
Sincerely,

Neal Dunn gpf

This always has been one of my favorite signs. This sign that I photographed is at an antique mall in pretty bad shape with a mint price. It will be their for awhile.

I'm going to post several pictures of tire signs. Most (but not all) of the pictures came from the Aumann Auctions web site. I don't want to make this a big commercial for them, but I do want to thank them for allowing me to use their pictures here.

Hey guys.

Here are a few of my tire signs.

First off, my hugh Firestone sign (20"+).

Next, my Seiberling sign. I got this one at Cheese's show two years ago. It's still one of my favorites.

Lastly, my Michelin sign. I got this one at the Atlantique show in Atlantic City last year.

Later . . .

Jim
