I want to thank everyone who participated in the outboard/marine collectible to make it the best one so far. Thanks guys....

This week will be air meters and here is what is in store for the next three weeks.

*lubsters and lubster signs
*aviation related items
*license plate attachments/toppers

No air meters for me so who wants to start it off. If you don't know how to post pictures you can send them to be to post before Thursday. I will be out of town next weekend so "Collectible" will start up on Sunday evening next week.

Here is my restored post mount cast iron ECO 37. It is sitting on an aluminum repro stand that I haven't had time to paint yet. The stand is made by Brian Steiner at Fill-er-up.com . I'm sure it will look like an original iron base whenever I get it painted.

This is my favorite air meter because I remember using it to fill my bicycle tires at the station that was 2 blocks from grade school.

Finally, a string that I have something to contribute to!

Here is my pedestal mount air meter. I specifically did this up to look 'original'. The entire restoration, start to finish, only took three days. That included dissassembly, paint, and reassembly. I shot all the paint work with a rattle can for an authentic looking finish. It's wired an lit and really looks good when I turn it on.

Here is a wall mount that I still have to get to. I plan on doing this one in Harley colors and mounting it in the shop. I'll run an air line to it and the kids can use it to air up their car tires.

Later . . .

Jim
