The only metal pole thermometers I have seen have all been Texaco.

Forgot to post that one. Scott's right as Texaco is the only metal one I have ever seen. They do show up but are hard to find in nice shape. Bill.

Thanks for the comments and my appreciation to all of those who have contributed. The weather limited my internet access for most of the last 24 hours but I'm back up now. Will be adding some more tomorrow to finish up the topic.

Have been without power all day. Wanted to post this earlier. Here are some thermometers I have seen but don't have actual photos of.



top row left to right:
