Howdy all, I bought an original Wayne 60 stationlighter top. You know the one with the hoop for the globe and the bonnett on top! My question is about what supports it inside the pump. I know the tokheim 36B and 39 have a special light manifold for the stationlighter. Does the Wayne 60 as well? If so does anyone have one for sale? I am sure I can build something to work that will support it. Heck even a picture would be great! Thanks Larry

I have a parts list showing how both Cut 585 and the 587 lights are attached to the Wayne 60. It also shows how the lights are attached to the 70, the 70-E (Canada) and the 70 for Pacific Coast Division.
If you are interested in a copy, please email me.

Thanks for the reply! Is there any extra support on the inside? I sent Jack Sim an email in regard to his reply. Never heard back. Thanks Larry

How about posting some pics. I've never seen a Wayne 60 with a Stationlighter. Currently working on a Wayne 866; too tall to put inside with globe, so I'm going globeless.

Thanks.

Steve

Speaking of Wayne 60s I just put the "sunburst" panel above the meter instead of the ad glass. What can you put in back of this so you don't see the bare light bulb, etc...in back of the panel when lighted? Thanks for any hints & keep pumpin'!!

Here is a pic of the banjo that I am going to put on my 60. I have a pic of an 866 with a reproduction banjo that I took at Cheese's house. I will post it later, its on my wifes digital that I don't understand. Larry

This is a question for spt1 or anyone else who might know. On a Wayne 60 there is the horseshoe spacer that goes between the face and glass. On the Wayne 866 the clockface is larger than the 60's meter face and the horseshoe space would cover part of the clockface if used. Can someone provide any info or a photo of the spacer that is used on the 866. Thanks.

Either use a piece of colored plastic, painted or frosted glass

Here is the Wayne 866 restored by Jeffsautomobilia. It has the reproduction banjo. A sweet pump I think.

pumpcrazy, Dick is correct they use colored glass for backing. Here is an orignal red glass with sunburst that was on a VELTEX pump. Richard

wfort39663, you're correct about the spacer. Unfortunately, I can't be of much help here as my pump didn't have the spacers with it when I got it. For myself, I'm thinking of the following:

1 - fabricating them myself out of sheetmetal

2 - cutting up original horseshoes to fit

3 - I talked to Andy at Gas Pump Heaven about buying them from him as he sells the 60/866 conversion kits.

Not sure what I'm going to do yet.

Hope this helps.

Steve

The spacers are differnt, so are the narrow bodys. The narrow looks the same as a 60 wide just thiner. The 866 is totaly differnt it is at a 90 deg angle to the face. I just got one on ebay with a face bezel I will try and get pics in the next day or so.
