Sounds like you both had a good time and took care of yourselves. Good for you. Thats what it's all about.

Hey Jeff, to some of us it is just a hobby, to others its a cash thing, I come across stuff all the time for guys and you know I don't ask for nothing in return, if they want to help me when I'm looking for something they will, just like Don oltoydoc , offering to loan me his 310 bowser to make parts, (money) no , he was among several that i contacted and told about the pumps that was for sale up here, he was returning the favor, or Larry who does pumps for a side thing, I find things for him and don't want nothing in return, he finds things for me , thats what its all about. but for some, money is the thing. so when you come up in October bring your own Steak , ha ha ha ha ha. we'll find you some doors for seths T.V. pump .

It almost seems like some guys are out for them selves. Just remember that there might be something you want and something your buddy wants ... let him have it and you will always be one up with them when the next time that situation comes around. This hobby will be around for a while ... years to come and that 1 globe or sign or pump will be available again maybe cheaper and maybe more expensive. Just remember don't loose a friend over something you think you have to have. This is not a reply to the king but just a reply to all the guys here.

Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

Here is a picture of me and the famous gas pump hunter, aquasquarepants, out in the Ozark hills looking for Tokheim 39 doors. He is hoping to find some for his cousin who is patiently waiting for them in California.

The picture was taken in a place in the Ozarks where the hill people plant ID tags to grow gas pumps. It takes a special fertilizer made from Ozark moonshine, Sunoco 260 and boiled down political speeches. The tricky part is the speeches. They are a lot like manure, but they need to be used right away before they go bad.
