Found this pump, I believe to be a model 39. It's at about the oldest gas station I've ever seen, on one of the oldest roads in the state. Here's a couple of old stations found in Hillsboro, Texas. The "Burrito" shop looks to be an old Sinclair, not sure about the other one but it was fairly elaborate...

Hey thanks for starting my Showcase for me. Usually we start FATW on the 5th, but I'm so busy that I probably would have been late! Keep those photos coming! That Breakfast Burritto place looks a lot like the Solvang Service Station. Here's the link to that showcase http://www.oldgas.com/shoptalk/ubb/Forum4/HTML/001062.html

Here is a Flying A neon sign I 'found along the way' It just might be for sale. It is a 6 foot sign. The picture was taken through the window of the building. The red is alot brighter than it appears. and what you see as waves or wrinkles do not exist. There are a few spots of porcelain loss that can bee seen as black. It lights and is spectacular. Whats the value guys ? Larry

Better get out your fat checkbook for that beauty. See if you can get them to throw in the old pinball machine too.
I'd love to see that sign lit up....at my house!

Here's a late 1920's Gulf station in Flatonia, Texas that's now a tire shop. You can always tell these Gulf stations by that neat brick work. Many towns in Texas have one of these stations, some abandoned but many still in use by other businesses.
