I didn't have to work today so I decided to take a 3 hour road trip to the Ozarks today to hit some antique malls that I go to once in awhile. I saw so much stuff today and had my digital with me so I decided to share with you guys. It seemed as if I went to a Gas Show today for all of the stuff I saw. Here is a place in Springfield that usually has some neat signs they also have a few pumps. The Shell sign was porcelain and in excellent condition. The store wasn't open so I don't know what the price was and the same with the pumps.... Scott in KC

The next place I went to is an antique mall off of I-44 in Springfield. It is like a Gas Show. The place is half full of gas and oil stuff and that is the truth. It has signs, globes and cans but hardly any pumps. I think I have never left this place without buying something. One of my best quart cans came from here. Anyway enough of the talk here are the pictures. 1st off is one of my favorite signs although this one was in terrible condition from Wyeth Company just down the road from me in St. Joesph, MO.

The next sign is a Red Crown flange sign (painted) flocked by Gulf pump plates. This place is loaded with Gulf pump plates.

Now before everyone starts flooding my email. These signs all were in pretty poor condition and the asking price was for MINT signs. Anyway here are a few more signs from this place called the Autumn Leaf antique mall. I could have took a lot more pictures but only had one disk and wanted to take some pictures at another place.

The next place that I went to is a new mall in Bolivar, Missouri. It had a filling station re-created on the inside with assorted pumps in front of it as well as signs and some cars. Here are the pictures.

Directly next to the place with the $8200 clockface was a mall with several pole signs on poles a real eye catcher from the road. The first time I went by this place I slammed on the brakes and about ejected my wife........The inside was loaded with restored pumps but I was out of disk space.
Here are the pictures.......

The last place I went to was where this RARE Dixcel 30" was. I tried to buy it but with no luck this time. I had a very relaxing day with a lot of driving. Picked up some stuff but mostly trade bait. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed the day. Scott in Kansas City.

The last two images were taken on the side of an antique mall. The place above was loaded with quality soda pop stuff.

Check out the first picture with the pumps. The one on the far left, is the National that we were all "picking apart" because it was missing the top? Here is another one with the flat top. Live and learn....

Scott,
Did you make it to the malls at Ozark ? Did you stop at Lamberts " The Home of Throwed ROLLS" for lunch ?

I was at the mall in Bolivar year before last [after Iowa Gas], and the guy was VERY PROUD of his stuff for sale THEN. But still had to look at everything. I have lots of relatives at Bolivar, and I usedto go to school at Humansville.

Dick, That is some good eating at Lambert's and I did make it to the malls in Ozark. They also have an excellent clockface pump at Lambert's but I can't remember what it was. I am going to pull a Hubba here.

Scott too bloated to think about at Lambert's throwed roll.............
