Looks to be original clock faces, etc. but has the computer turnback crank, not the clock, and the narrow body clock is EXTREMELY rare...I've never seen a real one in anyone's collection or even a modern-day picture of one. Any thoughts?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=017&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=270079903727&rd=1&rd=1

I was not sure about this one neither. But, I am about 3 hours away and I thought of bidding on it and seeing what happened. What do you other guys think? Where are you DB?

Phil

Thanks, Phil

I have personally seen a narrow clock that is all original, came straight off the farm. They do exsist. I will try to round up a picture.

I have also seen 2 real narrow clocks. maybe the handle has been changed. It looks to have been laying on its face in the mud for quite some time. JM2C

I sent a question to the seller about it being an 866....the turnback is confusing,
maybe a 60 with a cutdown clock face??? I will post what I get back from the seller.

I received a reply from the owner saying that the ID tag on the pump says 866...
maybe db can tell us why the turnback handle is on the pump.

I DIDN'T DO IT !
Seller has a ph# listed, call them.
I also have a NARROW 866, but it has the clock reset knob.

That was me...the guy for some reason threw a "buy it now" price on the auction of $825 so I jumped on it...guess he got scared no one would buy it...I thought that was a steal of a deal. Now I just gotta figure on how to get it back to oregon!!

Cool pump petropumps. I am sure someone will be able to help you. When you get it to Oregon I can help you with a place for it. LOL

Petro. Way to go! ! ! Here is a web sote that has been discussed before on this site for reasonable and fairly easy pump shipping. If not, we need to see if we can get enough old gassers to hook up between there and Oregon.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I put this in another post, but just so everyone sees it...I'm shipping this pump forward air (forwardair.com) and it's only going to cost me $140!!! They only go airport to airport, but there are no size limitations, and it comes out to be around 56.8 cents per pound. A gutted pump isn't that expenisve to ship. Makes those ebay pumps looks a lot more appealing, doesn't it??

Great score! I did not bid on it because it was a pick up only. Drat! I gotta get more agressive!
