Hi Guys,

Thanks for the assistance and background info on the Shell lighter fluid dispenser. I have listed it on eBay now, item 320066375871.

Regards

Marcus

FYI, I have a great book, "The Shell Poster Book", with large-scale reprints of posters Shell used in Europe on their lorries (lorrys?)...anyway, it seems to me the book shows gas pumps much like your lighter fluid dispenser, but these posters were from the 1930's and 1940's...I think your dispenser is from that time as well...just my $.02 worth...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Aaah - I think perhaps you might be right. The more I read the more I think it is older than I first thought. I'll edit the ad.

BTW - Lorries a group of men named Laurie In Australia we just call them trucks - go figure, huh?
