I recently purchased a restored 97 via this eBay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7132972893&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT

It's in very good restored shape, although I haven't had a chance to hook it up yet. One minor issue is that the handle isn't mounted real solidly, so that when you crank it, if you're pushing inwards at all, the handle will rub up against the case. Any easy fix for this? Maybe it just needs to be spaced out a bit?

Also, is there a site that explains proper maintenance, plumbing hook-up, etc for these meters?

Thanks...

Brad

You may be missing the spring inside the housing frame. Let me know if you need parts & service

Thanks Ron, I'll check. Is it pretty obvious to see whether it's there once I remove the back panel?
