I noticed the picture so I clicked on the auction. I had to read the description twice. Is a flyer really worth that kind of money? Ebay auction # 110110273444 Mike

I think even the seller is a little concerned about that one!

...this auction is just a transparent and rather tacky attempt to circumvent ebay's rules against running an auction for a reason other than to sell something - the seller's trying to advertise Ohio Gas on ebay, that's all..look at his 'ME' page...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

I've bid on some auctions that were for a WANTED ITEM. Seller stated he was looking for something & there was NOT an item For Sale ! Even received emails from sellers Asking why I was bidding. db

That sure is a crummy way to advertise for the show. Tactics like that will drive people away pretty quickly...
Kinda makes me wonder about the integrity of the show promoters.

I don't think that the auction is that bad. Its a great way to advertise a show. I would have choose a different photo and made the ad more clear but have thought about doing the same thing. Whether you are a buyer or a seller, show's do better with more people. Its EXPENSIVE to advertise for them. Why not take advantage of a loophole. ------------------ Scott Wright- http://www.frontrangegas.com/powerine.htm
