Is this joke or are people really this stupid?

How can we stop this guy from buying repop signs and scratching them and letting them rust to look old? Look at his feed back and you will see some of the people are getting smarter.

I don't know if people are getting smarter or not. It took 27 bids to get to that price. He's smart enough to say he knows nothing about this sign, (age, repo, etc.) The only way I know of to stop people from selling known repos is to email them before the auction ends and persuade them to pull it.

I have emailed him and all I get back are emails telling me to mind my own business. He know that they are repops and he purposely scratches and then lets them rust before listing them.
If you go back and look at his selling history you will see that he has been doing this for some time now. Most of his dummied up repo signs have sold for 100.00 on up.

Read "Repo alert" posted 4/28 in this same catagory by Lastgas15 and the responses. I believe this took care of this problem. I don't know if it will work with this seller or not, but it may be worth a try.

That won't work with this seller. This guy is a fraud. He taunts reputable dealers and collectors in his emails. He flat out brags how he screws people. He uses private auctions so nobody can contact his bidders to warn them. Ebay won't do anything about it even though several people have complained about him.
